Waqia e karbala _ Allama Jalaluddin Qasmi Hafizullah ki tahreer...
Praise be to Allaah.
His name was Yazeed ibn Mu’aawiyah ibn Abi Sufyaan ibn Harb ibn Umayaah al-Umawi al-Dimashqi.
Narrated Khalid bin Madan:
That 'Umair bin Al-Aswad Al-Anasi told him that he went to 'Ubada bin As-Samit while he was staying in his house at the sea-shore of Hims with (his wife) Um Haram. 'Umair said. Um Haram informed us that she heard the Prophet (ﷺ) saying, "Paradise is granted to the first batch of my followers who will undertake a naval expedition." Um Haram added, I said, 'O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)! Will I be amongst them?' He replied, 'You are amongst them.' The Prophet (ﷺ) then said, 'The first army amongst' my followers who will invade Caesar's City will be forgiven their sins.' I asked, 'Will I be one of them, O Allah's Messenger (ﷺ)?' He replied in the negative."

IMAM Al-DHAHABI SAID: YAZID WAS THE COMMANDER OF MUSLIM FORCES WHO MARCHED TO CAESAR’S CITY. THIS EXPEDITION WAS SENT DURING THE REIGN OF HAZRAT MUAWIYAH RA AND IN THIS TASK FORCE WERE INCLUDED ELDERLY AND ILLUSTRIOUS SAHABA LIKE HAZRAT ABU AYYUB ANSARI RA WHOSE FUNERAL PRAYER WAS LED BY YAZID ACCORDING TO THE WILL OF HAZRAT AYYUB ANSARI RA HIMSELF. THIS EXPEDITION TOOK PLACE IN 51 H IN WHICH HAZRAT HUSAYN FOUGHT UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF YAZID. THIS WAS THE PIONEERING MUSLIM FORCE WHICH LANDED IN CAESAR’S CITY ,
among which were people such as Abu Ayyoob al-Ansaari ra . Yazeed was appointed by his father as his heir, so he took power after his father died in Rajab 60 AH at the age of thirty-three, but his reign lasted for less than four years.
Imam al Ghazzali said
“The Islam of Yazeed is proven And if it would be said: Is it permitted to curse Yazeed because he killed Hussain or ordered to? We would say: It’s not established, and it’s not permitted to say that he killed him or ordered to kill him” ….If someone says He ordered to kill Husayn ra or liked the martyerdoom of Husayn ra he is Idiot….It is not only allowed rather Mustahab to send mercy on him, and he is included in the prayer we do “O Allah forgive all the Momineen and Mominaat” because he was a MOMIN.[Wafiyat alAiyaan 3/288]
“And if it would be said: Is it permitted to curse Yazeed because he killed Hussain or ordered to? We would say: It’s not established, and it’s not permitted to say that he killed him or ordered to kill him”.Ihya aloom al-Din (3/125, darul marifat Beirut)
“When Muhammad Ibn Hanafiyyah was asked to abandon his pledge of allegiance which he had given to Yazeed, he strongly rejected it and in support of Ameer Yazeed he argued and debated with them and refuted their allegations of drinking alcohol and his abandoning of the prayer. as we willl mention in the biography of Yazeed InshaAllah”[AlBidaya wal Nihay]
Hazrat Ibn Abbas r.a saying that Yazid was known for his piety.' [Baladhuri, Kitab al-Ansab wa al-Ashraf, vol. IV,p. 4;]
Yazid was also outstanding in his knowledge. Ibn ‘Abbas (Allah be pleased with him) praised him for this.(Ibn Kathir 11:642)
Allama Ibn-e-Kaseer likhtey hain:
“Ameer Yazeed (Rehmatullah Alaih) ney 51 hijri, 52 hijri aur 53 hijri main logoon ko Hajj keraya aur ameer-e-Hajj k faraiz anjaam diye” (Albadaya Wannahaya Vol. 8 pg 229)
Allama Ibn-e-Hajr Asqalani likhtey hain:
“ aur ibn-e-shozab ney biyan kya k main ney Ibraheem bin abi abad sey yeh baat suni hay woh kehtey they k main ney Khalifa Umer bin Abdulaziz ko Yazeed bin Mavia (Rehmatullah Alaih) per ‘Rehmatullah Alaih’ kehtey suna hay” (Lisaan-ul-Meezan Vol. 6 pg. 294
hazrat hussain ra ne amr bin Saad ke saamne 3 baatein pesh ki aur farmaya ki inme se koi ek baat apna len
1- mujhe chhod do, main jahan se aaya hun wahin chala jaata hun.
2- ya mujhe yazid ke paas jaane do, taake main apna haath uske haath me de dun, yani uski bait kar lun, phir wah khud mere baare me faisla kar lega
3- ya mujhe kisi hadh(islamic border) par jaane ki ijaajat de do

ek aur riwayat me hai ki hz hussain ra ne ALLAH aur islam ka waasta dekar kaha:-” unhe ameer ul momineen(yazid) ke paas le chalen, wah uske haath me apna haath rakh denge (yani bait kar lenge)

Verily, when a servant curses something, the curse rises to the heaven and the gates of heaven close upon it. It turns right and left and if it does not find somewhere to go, it will return to that which was cursed only if it deserved to be curse, otherwise the curse will return to the one who made it.

The well-known view is that Yazeed ibn Mu‘aawiyah did not issue orders for the killing of al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him) and did not approve of it he honoured the family of al-Husayn who had been with him during that march of his, and during their march back to Madinah. He did not detain them and keep them with him.He was one of the Muslim youth, and he became caliph after his father’s death despite the objections of some of the Muslims and with the approval of others. He was courageous and generous, and he did not openly commit shameful deeds as his opponents said concerning him. During his reign several significant events occurred, one of which was the killing of al-Husayn (may Allah be pleased with him).
This is fairest opinion based on qaul regarding hz yazeed rahimullah silence is better
