Unanimously agreed that Abu Bakr is the best of this ummah after its Prophet (blessings and peace of Allah be upon him). This is testimony of all the Sahaabah, narrated by ‘Abd-Allaah ibn ‘Umar, that Abu Bakr was superior to all the Sahaabah, followed by ‘Umar, then ‘Uthmaan. It was narrated that Ibn ‘Umar (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: “We used to compare the people as to who was better at the time of the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him). We used to regard Abu Bakr as the best, then ‘Umar ibn al-Khattaab, then ‘Uthmaan ibn ‘Affaan (may Allaah be pleased with them).” Narrated by al-Bukhaari, 3655. According to another report he said: “At the time of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) we did not regard anyone as equal with Abu Bakr, then ‘Umar, then ‘Uthmaan, then we left the companions of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and we did not differentiate between them.” Al-Bukhaari, 2679 Among the vi

Muslims are oppressed around the world but you refuse to protest in the streets and boycott goods. Why?! (Question 5 in the Methodology of the Sunnah) Answer: Al-Hamdu lillāhi Rabbil ‘ālamīn, was-salātu was-salāmu ‘alā ashrafil mursalīn, wa ‘alā ālihī wa sahbihī ajma’īn. Ammā ba’d. This is a pertinent question for this era and these times because of the fact that it is true that the Muslims are being oppressed in the various parts of the world. Muslims are suffering at the hands of the unbelievers, and at the hands of the enemies of Islām among the Rāfidah, the Khawārij and others. The person who asked the question states that the Muslims are being oppressed in various places like Palestine, Kashmīr, India and Syria — this is true. The second part of the question states that the Salafīs never support the call to protest. When you say “protest” I assume what you intend is marching in the streets and demonstrating against those in authority. There are several ways that this qu

AL WALA WAL BARA (PART 1,2,3)
The virtue of the Sahaabah (may Allaah be pleased with them)  Praise be to Allaah. Belief in the good character and virtue of the Sahaabah is the belief of Ahl al-Sunnah wa’l-Jamaa’ah. That is because Allaah has praised them in His Book and they were also praised by the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) as is narrated in the books of Sunnah. These texts reach the level of mutawaatir in many cases, which clearly indicates that Allaah gave them special virtues and noble characteristics, by means of which they attained that great honour and high status with Him. As Allaah chose for His message the most pure-hearted of His slaves (i.e., the Prophets), so too He chose as the heirs of the Prophets those who would be grateful for this blessing and who were fit for this honour (of conveying the message), as He says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Allaah knows best with whom to place His Message” [al-An’aam 6:124] Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) s

No one knows the unseen in the absolute sense except Allaah Praise be to Allaah. Knowledge of the unseen is something that Allaah has kept for Himself, as is indicated by the texts of the Qur’aan and Sunnah. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Say: “None in the heavens and the earth knows the Ghaib (Unseen) except Allaah, nor can they perceive when they shall be resurrected” [al-Naml 27:65]  “And with Him are the keys of the Ghayb (all that is hidden), none knows them but He. And He knows whatever there is in the land and in the sea; not a leaf falls, but He knows it. There is not a grain in the darkness of the earth nor anything fresh or dry, but is written in a Clear Record” [al-An’aam 6:59]  The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) explained these keys as referring to five things which are mentioned in Soorat Luqmaan, where Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):  “Verily, Allaah, with Him (Alone) is the knowledge of the Hour, He send

Refuting The Reality of Celebrating Eid Milad Un Nabi وقال االله تعالى: قل بفضل االله وبرحمته فبذالك فليفرحوا هوخيرم ّما يجمعون )سوره يونس 10:58 (Allah has stated in the Holy Qur’an: ‘‘Say, In the Bounty of Allah, and in His Mercy (i.e. Islam and the Qur’an); - therein let them rejoice. That is better than what (the wealth) they amass ’’ (Surah 10:58) In this verse of the Qur’an, Allah has mentioned the success of this world is not a means of rejoicing, the true reason for rejoicing is the attaining of two things: the Bounty of Allah and His Mercy. As narrated by Anas, Bara Ibn A’zib and Abu Saeed Khudri : The Prophet Allahs Messenger (صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم) said: The Bounty of Allah means the Qur’an, and Mercy is that Allah gave you the guidance to read and act upon the Qur’an.’ (Roohul Ma’ani)It is the statement of the majority of the Mufasireen, that: ‘The Bounty of Allah means the Qur’an, Mercy is Islam.’The leader of the Muffasireen, Abdullah ibn Abbas , for whom the Prophet Allahs
