The Muslim Brotherhood ( Al-Ikhwān Al-Muslimūn ), founded in Egypt circa 1928 CE by Hasan Al-Banna (died 1949 CE), established for themselves a principle that was intended to unite the Muslims through mutual cooperation, agreement and overlooking differences for the sake of reaching a “greater goal”, which was political power for the Ikhwān (Brotherhood) in Egypt and then the rest of the Middle-East, North Africa and elsewhere.
